THE LIVE WORKING MASTERY OBSERVATORY

The field knowledge base that objectively measures how French companies control electrical risk.

The Live Working Mastery Observatory (O-M-T) is the knowledge base built by CETé since 2022. It capitalises the results of Safety Performance Diagnoses (DPS) conducted with French companies performing live working, in low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV), to objectify recurring gaps and benchmark each organisation against its sector.

Methodology

  1. 1Field audits (DPS) conducted on worksites representative of each company's activity, in both low and high voltage.
  2. 2The AudiMaT cross-analysis: confronting the organisation's self-assessment, its compliance with the professional recommendation, and the technical gestures observed in real situations.
  3. 3An anonymised consolidation of findings, feeding the sector benchmark and the Vigi-Score® rating framework.

Three organisation profiles

The cross-analysis of results reveals three tertiles, from the most exposed to the most mature:

The Vulnerable

Weak safety culture, incomplete documentation, resistance to change. High accident probability.

The Middle Ground

Formal compliance without real ownership, gaps between procedures and field practices. Moderate accident probability.

The Talents

Embedded safety culture, measurable continuous improvement, proactive anticipation. Low accident probability.

Observatory data is consolidated on an ongoing basis and published in aggregated, anonymised form.
